Year 6 Leaver Speeches

Our lovely Year 6's are about to move onto new adventures (and new schools!). On Friday, in front of the school and their whānau, the Year 6 students said their leaving speeches. They talked about their time at LNS which included their favourite memories and most embarrassing moments. After the speeches the Year 6 students enjoyed the afternoon down at Woodham Park. We will miss you at LNS!

Road Patrol Training

Earlier this week a group of enthusiastic Year 5 students took part in the Road Patrol Training. Constable Matt taught them the importance of the role. They have done a great job and are looking forward to taking over the responsibility from the current Year 6 students.

This week Constable Matt came to Room 10 to teach us about different types of abuse. We learnt a lot and we enjoyed asking him questions about being a policeman.

Come have a look at their great posters which are displayed in the Kokari Learning Centre on our Wow Wall.
