Mathletics Challenge

Kia ora

I shall keep our daily scores updated on the blog so we can see how we're doing.  Looks like we'll need an average of around 1650 points per child if we're going to make the Top 50.

Good luck Room 10.

Mathletics update

Kia ora

Room 10 earned 37 100 points in Week 8.  This mean't that on average each student earned 1170 points for the week.  The class that was the 50th best in the Country earned 1280 points per student.

The students have decided to really push for a top 50 finish in Week 10.  Please could you restrict their mathletics use this week and then please really encourage them to use the program next week.

We will ask every student to try to achieve a certificate and those that normally get certificates to try to push themselves that little bit further.

Should be a fun week

Mathletics Drive

Kia ora Whanau

Room 10 is loving the Mathletics program.  We are now focused on reaching the Top 50 classes in the Country!  Last week we missed out by 2000 points in total.  What this means is that equates to around 60 points per person.  It takes most people about 5 minutes to earn 60 points.

At this stage of the week (4.30pm on Saturday), which concludes at 7am on Monday, we are about    4 000 points off making the Top 50.

The main thing is that the students are loving maths and their maths is improving.  It will be a massive bonus if we can make that Top 50.
