Well being hub visited school today

The Mobile Wellbeing Hub visited our school. Students were able see displays by the Fire Service, Police, Education and Health. Plus a free sausage sizzle!

Today, our year 6 students were at cycle safety. This was a great opportunity for our year 5 students to work more indepentently and plan their day. A great step to becoming self managed learners.

Below are your learning tasks for the day. Please tick them off as they are completed.

You may complete them in an order that suits you, but  all learning must be completed in order to earn your Dojo points.

You must be seated on the mat at 9.50 for read and feed and go to Drama in the library from 10.00 until 11.00.

Recorder Lesson Make sure you attend your lesson today if you have one.

Handwriting - please complete today’s handwriting. Letter Ll, concentrating on sloping your letters. Please complete your to Brilliant standard. It will be returned to you if it’s not.

Please copy these into your “learning activities” book. Practice saying them to a partner. Glue the Samoan Alphabet into your “learning activities” book as well.

Maths - Area and Perimeter Please complete your sheet from yesterday. Ensure all area and perimeter sheets are glued in you strand maths book.

Home Learning Challenge - Matariki Begin some research on Matariki. Please note - your poster needs to be completed at home.

Writing - Last Friday, you began writing a story based on the desert picture. This should be finished today.

Mathletics - make sure your mathletics tasks have been completed

Desk Tidy - Your desk should be clean, everything should be in its correct place

Art - You should have completed 2 leaf drawings. One to show its real colours and another in different colours.

Autumn Poems - Your google slide presentation must be finished and shared with Mr Mitchell

If you finish everything, you may work on your goals sheets or SRA cards or Reading Eggs.
